Terry and his team were able to haul an entire NordicTrack elliptical machine from the second story into the basement in under 15 minutes. That is a 215 pound elliptical machine, wrapped for hauling, and carried down 28 stairs, through multiple door frames without so much as a scuff on the floor. This was short notice too. I called late morning and they were able to fit us in that afternoon. In every regard he exceeded my expectations and I would not hesitate to use their service again. Professional work exemplar, no doubt.

I just got off the phone with a representative to inquire about a quote. What they don’t tell you on their website is that it is a 3 hour minimum and will charge at least $500. How is this a “low low price” they claim? When I thanked him for the information and that it was too much money for me, he hung up on me. How rude and unprofessional.

First off, Terry and I hit it off on the phone. He was very confident and told me not to call any other movers. He had my job. I liked the confidence and personality we had. We are both business owners and bonded on the trials of being self employed.I had a unique situation in that I have several heavy machines that needed to go from truck to storage. There was no driving needed, no loading at all. The bill was way higher than I wanted to spend but I was also under a time crunch as I had to return the truck the next day. Terry brought three guys and his lift gate truck so I understand why the cost was up there.I gladly picked up lunch because those men worked real hard for a solid 3 hours. If I had been better planned, maybe it wouldn't have been $2000 for 3 hours with several heavy items. But I'm happy to have been in capable hands. Thanks, Terry!

They said they’d start between 10:00am and 10:30. They finally showed up after 11:00 with an attitude. Didn’t finish that day. Demanded to be paid for Day 1. Came back the next day to finish and charged us for the minimum 3 hours. It should have been a continuation from Day 1. Very frustrating to work with.

I called Perfection Moving, the day before I was supposed to move, and they were so accommodating and was there the next day to pack up and move my items. Their staff was very professional and detailed with all of my valuables. I could not ask for a better moving company after bad experience with past with moving companies .If I could give them more than five stars I would. They are the best.!!

The gentlemen from Perfection Moving Co were on time, polite, and hard working. They were all very conscience of my things and made sure that nothing was damaged. Most unprofessional moving company my family has ever used. Including several moves out of state. This move was from one suburb to another 30 minutes away. We needed assistance packing and moving. The price changed from what was originally quoted. I specifically asked for them to come by to evaluate the home for an accurate account of how much packing material we would need. It was scheduled at 5pm the day before at the last minute was changed when Terry said he was 6 minutes away but there was no one at the home during that time. No protective coverings were placed on the carpet or hardwood floors at either home. None of the boxes were marked. Even though we provided sharpies. I was guaranteed all mattresses would be shrink wrapped to avoid cross contamination from previous customers with possible bed bugs or mites the mattresses were not covered. The master bedroom set was put back together with exposed screws instead of it being flush. The icing on the cake one of my flat screen TV's is broken from the move and when I contacted Terry to inquire how to file a claim I was met with him raising his voice and being rude instead of listening to me. Him claiming it is because we had to much stuff. When he came to the home he should have walked away from the job if it could not be completed professionally and without breaking items. Half the time he was not there with his movers because he kept having to leave to check out other job sites. When the movers were outside at both locations talking loud using profanity such as the N word on multiple occasions. I have never had a moving company ask me to buy their employees pizza and drinks and that I would get reimbursed. When it was time to reimburse me he stated he "gave me a break on part of the hourly rate". I definitely didn't see that. The interchange fee for using my credit card was passed on to me. I paid an extra 6% for the privilege of using a credit card. Actual professional companies take that fee on as the cost of doing business. For future moves I will use a big name company because the peace of mind is worth the price.

Terry and his crew were actually nice guys. My husband and I ate frequent movers and just had moved there months ago and never in our 6 years of moving which we moved the same stuff everywhere paid $1800. Terry was suppose to get there at 10am but called and said 10am-10:30am but ended up coming at 11am. Terry and crew at first started off great but tended to slow down due to “organizing of furniture” on his truck mind you we move the same stuff all the time so not sure why it needed to much organization like playing Tetris. In the afternoon Terry asked could I picked their lunch up which I didn’t mind but didn’t know I was getting stuck with the bill and was not asked. Finally at 5pm we headed to storage which was on the first floor down a small hallway. The two guys started unloading the truck while Terry “guided them”. We paid for three movers which all the should be moving everything mind you the husband was helping them out the whole time. The two guys was that was helping Terry even stated themselves that Terry won’t let them move anything because he likes it a “specific way” which killed a lot of our time the whole day. We ended up getting finished at 9pm with a $1800 dollar bill. Let me state again we move the same stuff all the time and never surpassed 6 hours maximum but this was a 10 hour move. We were unaware of some charges like the heavy lifting which we don’t know exactly what was heavy because we broke everything down. They broke my bed down even more even though it was unnecessary because we just moved the bed in without taking all the legs off. He told me he didn’t want to move my pictures because they were glass but ended up moving them but it was never started it would be a issue with glass. After confronting him he took off his lunch which I never agreed to pay for. He told me he wrapped 30 piece which wasn’t true. He wrapped 3 pieces to day bed, to piece to bed, 1 mattress, 5 pieces to the couch, and two chairs therefore why are we being charged for 30 pieces? They actually were more than two men and a truck which we’ve used before because even though they’re high they move extremely fast. Very disappointed because this is something we truly didn’t have and was blindsided. This had to be I worse move and in in the last couple of years we’ve moved 5 times I design places this was the highest and less sufficient move. Very disappointed and from what everyone stated we were basically ripped off because he believed we have “money”. 10 hour move for a two bedroom.Response to reply: That’s a lie everything was not shrink wrapped. 15 items at the most was shrink wrapped stop it. We were not seated of extra charges which you never stated when we booked you guys. It was disclosed and even your workers said y’all was moving slow. I’m 5 months pregnant so yeah I’m going to stay out the way in the car which you knew. What an I suppose to do help you move to? Fishing through the garage? Everything was going so what were you fishing for? However, thank you this experience this was a lesson learned. Have a good one.

I had a wonderful experience with Terry and Perfection moving. Despite scheduling near to my move date, he was able to accommodate. Day of the move he arrived with two young gentleman in tow and I was amazed at how quickly my hastily packed house was carefully packed - as if with ease. I could tell Terry is a professional of many years and appreciated the time he took to explain to me how to care for my items, or why they needed special care. They continued to work late into the day, and even offered to come back to help another day , the near weekend day even, due to my unfinished state. Once it was over I felt like I had been hanging out with friends all day, which is important for someone you have handling your home. Everything was moved into place with care and nothing was damaged despite the high amount of pressed wood (cheap) items I own. When it came time to invoice everything was very reasonably priced to my surprise despite all the extra care taken. Thank you Terry! You saved the day!

Friendly, kind and respectful with our elderly parents who were transitioning to senior apts from their home they lived in for 55 yrs. Great care in wrapping and moving their favorite items and responsive to any concerns they had. Would use again and have already recommended to others.

Terry and crew were able to assist me VERY last minute and I’m extremely grateful. He was able to provide me a quote over the phone and it was pretty accurate.The amount of time it took and the number of helpers was exactly as stated over the phone.Terry even wrapped some of our items that we did not wrap ourselves for a small and reasonable fee.I did have some Heavy items and I understand the extra charges for those items.They worked hard until the job was completed.My only suggestion would be for the crew to get bright uniform shirts so they can be identifiable easier.They guys had a job over 30 minutes away from my location during rush hour traffic and were a little later than expected but it didn’t stop us from getting all our stuff out before closing.Overall I understand how a small business works and I’m grateful for the last minute service, efficiency of the move and timeliness.Thank you guys!
